making up estée

I had the pleasure of doing Estée's, (known as essiebutton on YouTube) make-up this week. The experience was un-real and on the day every part of my body turned to jelly, but all our nerves aside we ended up with what I can say as a very special video.

We wanted to do a red lip (very fitting for this time of year) I thought it would be a nice idea as she really suits the stained berry, red shades. For the eyes I used a couple of different eyeshadows to create a wash of colour. I really didn't want to do a heavy eye or something very out there. Instead I kept the eyebrows very natural, only running a little powder through the outer ends and kept the skin very clean and fresh. I used Revlons Photoready Cream blush in pinched which teamed with the eyes created a very tonal and natural feel to her face, and then whack a beautiful deep cranberry lip.

Looking back at the video I look like I'm doing an advert for Red Bull or something, so excuse my voice going at 100 miles per hour, I was just so nervous and excited!

We met at her meet-up a couple of weeks ago and I don't know why but somehow I was given the chance to do a video with her. It was a brilliant day, we got along so well and it was great to meet someone who I could blubber on about YouTube to, as there is only so much my friends and family can take.

Hope you enjoy the video as much as I did creating it.

Check out Estée's YouTube Blog & Twitter. She is awesome!
