MARIO BADESCU: CUCUMBER TONIC MASK

Mario Badescu is a D U D E. I think I first came across the brand from word of mouth. The simple packaging attracted me and I was ready to unscrew those lids.

I suffer from a little redness on my cheeks and thought the Cucumber Tonic Mask was best as it contains Azulene (chamomile). Aswell as redness this mask also purifies, tackles blackheads and tightens pores. It is a clay mask which drys and then you wash off. I was a little hesistant on clicking the 'add to basket' button. Why? Well as I type this I'm trying hard to figure that out, I wanted to say I normally have no interest in cucumber as an ingredient for skincare. I think it's because it reminds me of those cheap ones you can get, but that is unnecessary now as this mask is the B O M B.

I find when you are excited to use a product over and over again it's a great thing. Especially when it's an excited cucumber dodger. This product includes 9 ingredients, amazing. There is something so understated and simplistic about it. I've noticed a little pattern in all of Badescu's products were it has the shortest ingredients list I've ever seen.

After application I wait about 20 minutes and then wash off, because of the cucumber properties it's extremely mild and cooling, but it's a clay mask so I would suggest it's not ideal if your skin is inflamed/sun burnt. It leaves my skin feeling moisturised, smooth and refreshed. Definitely a re-purchase.
